Description of Role

 

An experienced and driven Sales Executive is needed to support and drive the growth and expansion of an established organisation.

 

 

 

A leading UK company have recently entered the Irish market and now require a motivated sales executive to help grow the business.  You will have the freedom of covering both Northern & Southern Ireland.

 

 

 

The primary purpose of this role is to identify new business opportunities and manage existing contracts.  The Sales Executive will be tasked with developing and maximising sales activities within allocated territory for the Regional Distribution Centre, ensuring that regional Sales and Profit targets are achieved and exceeded.

The company in question are UK market leaders in the distribution of a wide product range which is designed to protect the safe transport and storage of their client’s goods. 

 

 

 

They supply customers on a local, regional and national basis throughout the UK and Ireland.

 

 

 

Key market sectors supplied are FMCG, Industrial, Defence, Aerospace, Electronics and Medical sectors.

 

 

 

This is a great opportunity for a dedicated sales professional to join an established organisation and help in the growth and expansion of their Irish division.

 

 

 

Requirements for Role

 

  • Previous sales experience – Ideally within any of the following sectors: FMCG, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronic, Defence, Aerospace, Medical and Pharmaceutical

 

 

 

  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

 

 

 

  • Sound business acumen, with the expertise to construct commercial proposals, and to negotiate to close.

 

 

 

  • Full clean drivers licence

 

 

 

Role Responsibilities

 

 

 

  • Create and implement a business plan for allocated territory in order to maximise sales and deliver excellent standards of customer service at all times. 

 

 

 

  • Maintain and develop existing accounts whilst also identifying new business opportunities and extending the customer base. 

 

 

 

  • Maximise both sales and profit responsibly.  Ability to negotiate on price and gain long-term business relationship.

 

 

 

  • Build relationships with suppliers in order to maximise sales through their expertise.

 

 

 

  • Utilise CRM to follow up all sales leads, enquiries and quotations.

 

 

 

  • Proactively partner with National Accounts with any possible sales opportunities for the Company.

 

 

 

  • Adopt a consultative approach with clients ensuring solutions recommended meet their requirements.

 

 

 

  • Ensure a high standard of sales administration at all times.

 

 

 

  • Liaise with Sales Office Manager/Commercial Manager and Logistics Manager.

 

 

 

  • Develop co-operative working relationships with Sales co-ordinators.

 

 

 

  • Utilise all available promotional material and in so doing promote all products and solutions available.

 

 

 

  • Assist in the smooth running of the RDC whenever requested to do so. 

 

 

 

  • Work within the Company’s ISO9001 and ISO14001 policies.

 

 

 

  • Other tasks as required.
